THE BEST NY Style pizza in Tampa!! Great selections, HUGE pizza slices and also great menu additions (mozzarella sticks, etc.). We stop here almost every time we venture into the city. It's in an amazing location - just across the street from the Riverwalk. I absolutely recommend this place for your pizza cravings!

We came from Wesley Chapel because of the glowing reviews, and I honestly can't understand them. We're pizza people. Our favorites include Pizza Box, Santoro's, The NONA Slice House in Safety Harbor, Toby's Original Little Italy Pizzeria, Violet Stone Pizza, and Via Italia. We've gone out of our way to try many of the best pizza places around Tampa Bay, so we came in expecting something special. Instead, this was one of the most disappointing pizzas we've had in a long time. The crust, sauce, cheese, and overall flavor were all completely forgettable. It honestly reminded me of food court pizza, and that might even be unfair to Sbarro. The only explanation I can come up with is that being in the middle of downtown, this place benefits from people grabbing a slice after a night out. Almost any pizza tastes better after a few drinks. If you're making a special trip because of the reviews, don't expect it to be anywhere close to Pizza Box, Santoro's, The NONA Slice House, Toby's, Violet Stone, or Via Italia. Unfortunately, it just didn't live up to the hype.

Great experience! Myself, being from NY, could appreciate the flavor of their pizza and the style of this pizzeria! A more familiar flavor compared with other pizzas from down here. They also had a lot more specialty slices available @ the counter than other Florida pizzerias, just like NY. Was also able to enjoy eating with our dog by our side @ the tables out in front of the restaurant.

The only good thing was the service they were fast and friendly. The sauce had no flavor, the crust wasn’t good the toppings were mid the flavor was mid, not authentic my pizza yeah it’s my style BUT it’s not anywhere near NY pizza. I get we’re not in NY but even if it came kinda close I could respect it but nah it was 6/10 I took a few bites an was done gave to a nice homeless man outside he enjoyed it.

4 Stars, Let me start by saying this pizza was good, above average overall, but not true NY style. I have had my share of pizza as a native New Yorker and as a certified pizza judge over the years. The crust/dough of this pizza pie was more of a cracker like consistency, less chew than like NY style crust, lackes in flavor, missing the yeast taste, and overall bland dough. Again it was not bad pizza but its not NY pie. Toppings are of decent quality, good ratio of toppings, fantastic selection of slices ready to go. Great service, decent seating areas. Parking.... i know its not the restaurants fault but good luck on that, when you do its 14$ at the lots, the real NY experience. Grandma pizza was excellent, great flavors and overall excellent experience. Tiramisu was ok. Instagram/TikTok @foodieadventuresusa
